The 1st sunnah of pregnancy in Islam as strongly advised by the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is to keep it Secret. Do not reveal to people that you’re pregnant, let it grow for people to ascertain by Allah’s grace.

This is largely due to the evil eye and jealousy. These 2 are very real and more present (in Islam) than you’ll ever imagine. If you only share the news then let it to someone who is necessary for the person to be told at that early stage. SubhanAllah currently we are so desperate to tell everyone who cares to concentrate that we are pregnant.
You may carry your baby to term and deliver him safely but you discover out a lot is wrong with his life and upbringing. But sometimes this went on the way before he was born because you shared the news with EVIL persons without you knowing.
The second sunnah is to be THANKFUL. As a couple, despite the circumstances under which Allah bless you with pregnancy, accept it, and thank Him. I’ve seen and heard people that say because they are not ready they’ll plow ahead and abort etc.
The sole condition under which abortion is allowed Islamically is when the lifetime of the mother is in danger. And it’s been unanimously agreed by experts that her life is in danger. Otherwise, any other reason is selfish and ungrateful.

The third is to follow the footsteps of Maryam Alaihis Salam. Anytime you discover out that you’re pregnant, it’s advisable for you to create an intention and make a covenant between you and Allah to dedicate your to be a child to his service together with his help. Surah Al Imran V35.
With this intention InshaAllah, Allah will assist you to guide and grow the kid in his service. and will create an innate bond between the kid and his Lord.
The fourth sunnah which is far and away, the one that got me excited the foremost is when the RUH (Soul) enters your baby. Doctors start trying to find a heartbeat from 6 weeks I feel. If one isn’t seen you will be said to be having a BLIGHTED OVUM medically.

Now, this is often the foremost amazing part on my behalf for me. The guts and therefore the ruh (soul)are two different things. the maximum amount as you’ll see the baby on the screen of a scanning machine he doesn’t have a ruh yet.
All he has is an organ called the heart but he doesn’t have a soul yet. Allahu AKBAR!!!Allah in his infinite mercy and kindness decided to allow us to know when the RUH or SOUL are going to be breathed into our babies so we will do the needful.
The RUH (SOUL) is breathed into the baby at about 120 days i.e when you’re 4 months pregnant. At about exactly this point the angels are asked to write down 4 things regarding the baby.1. Deeds2. Livelihood3. Death4. Whether he’ll be blessed or wretched in religion.
When you’re about approaching this term, make constant dua seeking goodness and favor of all of the above on your baby. Tirelessly and consistently without seizing. you’ll also inform your spouse to also help with such dua for your baby.

InshaAllah, Allah will listen and answer your Duas (prayers). Remember the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam told us prayers can change destiny, at now the destiny of your child has not yet been written. With faith and sincere belief, you’ll play a really big role in what’s to return by the desire and beauty of Allah.
The fifth and another marvelous blessing of Allah on us happens around the 20th week of your pregnancy. At about this point your baby can hear and recognize voices. this is often a time to develop one on one exclusive bond together with your baby by reciting the Qur’an aloud.
The sound waves of your voice will reach your baby. this may help him to develop a bond with the Qur’an and therefore the Deen even before he comes to the planet.
At this stage, it’s not a time for Zeeworld and gossip. it’s going to appear to be nothing to you but it’s plenty trying to do with the long run lifetime of your unborn child.

You and your husband can alternate to be reciting the Qur’an aloud to your baby from this term till his or her birth. this is often one of the best GIFTS you’ll ever give to your child.
Lastly, attempt to read abreast of the Islamic way of raising children. May the Almighty grant us all pious children. Ameen Ya Rab 🙏🤲.remember me in ur precious prayers… J
